For public records, the Sheriff's Office provides an online data request form, and Goodhue County also posts a countywide data practices page. Inspection of public data is free. Copies may be charged under Minn. Stat. 13.03, including $0.25 per page for ordinary paper copies. Larger requests may include the cost of search, retrieval, and copying time, and the county states that it responds as soon as reasonably possible.
